What You Can Do
We accept every youth who wants to take advantage of our programs. In order to say keep saying ‘yes’ we need the help of others. There are many levels of participation available for those who want to be part of the solution we provide. Here are only a few:
1. Financial Assistance: These tax deductible donations allow youth to attend all Fence At The Top sponsored events, including:- Tutoring (academic assistance, job search practices, etc.)
- Faith based life skills (living a principled life)
- Use of facility computer lab, basketball courts, library.
- Field trips (sailing, snow day)
- Attendance at professional sports events, like Warriors, Giants, Raiders, 49ers, and Kings’ games.
2. Event Sponsorship:Your financial or in-kind support of our appearance at many community events is essential. These events are among the most effective ways we have to raise awareness about how we fill the needs of Sonoma County’s at-risk youth. Consider becoming a sponsor at any of the following:
- Honor Jackson’s Sports Camp
- Honor Jackson’s Full Contact Football Camp
- Dinner with the Pro’s
- January fundraiser (view playoff game - prizes, raffles, vacation trips, tickets to Giants, 49ers, A's and Warriors)
- Year around faith based life skills training and mentoring
- Rites of Passage graduation (tuxedos, gowns and dinner)
3. Volunteers:These individuals perform a variety of tasks, depending upon their interests and availability. We welcome those who can provide:
- administrative assistance
- computer lab supervision
- chaperone day trips
- tutor various subjects, K-12
- fundraising assistance
